Much like your back, Colombia is full of hard-to-reach places that, if you manage to get to, are some of the most amazing, most indescribable places to itch – Uh… go.
We’ve looked at Tatacoa Desert and how to travel to the Amazon in Colombia by boat, and those are undoubtedly two highlights.
One of Colombia’s most rewarding regions, however, is La Guajira. Turquoise oceans lap at the fiery-red, desert coastline as the Caribbean heat beats down unrepentantly. It’s the northernmost point of South America although, frankly, it feels like the end of the world.
Our friends at Off2Colombia recently went and managed to gather some incredible footage from their journey. A true adventurer’s destination, La Guajira is a place you’ll never forget.
