Colombia has many beautiful Caribbean islands off its coast, but there are two that stand out in terms of tourism infrastructure and their natural beauty. The most popular island to spend a vacation in the Caribbean is San Andrés but if you are looking for your own little piece of heaven on earth, we consider that Providencia is the island that you should consider.
Book and quote your plan to San Andrés y Providencia here.

Providencia is a mountainous island that you can reach by air or maritime from San Andrés. Like San Andrés, it has some of the most spectacular beaches that you can find in the Caribbean, but unlike its older brother, Provincia doesn’t host the number of hotels and resorts to welcome travelers. Instead, it is a quiet island where you feel like there’s been relative, to the margins of urbanism. Of course, you can find very good options to stay in Providencia, but it feels more like your own adventure – definitely a paradise for the travelers.
You can not just relax on its white beaches and immerse yourself in its turquoise waters, but you can also participate in different sports on the island. Diving is particularly popular on the island, as it has a magnificent coral reef that surrounds the island, which by the way, is the third-largest in the world. You can also visit Pueblo Viejo, as its name suggests, which is the oldest part of Providencia.

A peculiarity of the island that might surprise visitors is that the locals actually speak a Creole English

(in fact, islanders call it Old Providence) , meaning you won’t have to worry about leaving that Spanish phrase book at the top of your luggage – although if you want to practice, Spanish is widely spoken too.
A visit to Providencia is a captivating, remarkable experience. It’s the kind of place travelers dream about, but as always in Colombia, you can make it a reality.

Nice post. At times I feel all the islands in the Caribbean are the same. Such beautiful and pristine islands. The sense of joy and exhilaration you get when you visit and stay in these places are amazing. You can just leave everything else behind. I had the chance to visit both St. Barts and Anguilla. The experience is something that’ll keep bringing me back over and over again to this part of the world. Colombia is on my list.
