Day 1. Bogota – Armenia - Finca
Upon arrival, one of See Colombia Travel´s representatives will be on hand at the airport/bus terminal for your transfer to Armenia. Once there, you´ll head to your chosen finca.
From there the expedition will begin, heading to the colonial charm of Salento and the unbelievably tall palm trees and surreal surroundings of Cocora Valley, both unexpected delights it would be a shame to miss on any Colombian tour.
Day 2. Finca - RECUCA
RECUCA is a Cultural Coffee Experience tour where you will gain a unique insight into the real lives of the coffee growers. This tour allows us to learn the fascinating history of the coffee growing culture and the birth of the local paisa culture. Try the traditional outfits on for size and harvest, pulp, dry, roast and grind your own coffee the way the locals have always done it. After such a proper day´s work, can sit down to enjoy a cup of the world´s best coffee from beans you´ve produced yourself.
Day 3. Armenia – Medellin
Transfer to the airport/bus terminal for your journey across Colombia. Upon arrival in Medellin, transfer to your chosen hotel to have dinner, relax and prepare for the rest of your adventure.
Day 4. Medellin. City Tour
Uncover the origins of Medellín and its most iconic symbols, such as the “Pueblito Paisa”, the Intelligent Edifice, and the main plaza. Ride the “Metro Cable”, Medellín´s famously innovative transportation system and visit the architecturally striking Spanish Library Park.
Day 5. Medellin – Santa Fe de Antioquia
After breakfast we leave the rapid pace of Medellín for the tranquillity of Santa Fe de Antioquia. Its delightful cobbled streets and houses recall a distant colonial time.
Day 6. Medellin– Cartagena
Transfer to the airport/bus terminal for your trip to Cartagena. Upon arrival in Cartagena, relax in your specially chosen hotel
Day 7. Cartagena. City Tour
Begin your time in this old pirate city with a visit to Cerro de la Popa, built on top of a hill with Cartagena´s best view. Following this we will see the city´s most historic church San Pedro Claver, and hear the stories about its legendary patron saint. Finding ourselves in the Old City, we visit Plaza Bolivar, Bobedas and the swanky Bocagrande Panoramic. The Old City retains all the charm of the colonial days, its narrow, cobbled streets flanked by impeccably restored colonial mansions. We will finish in Pierino Gallo, for some top-notch shopping. Your afternoon will be free to enjoy the city at your leisure.
Day 8. Cartagena- Tayrona National Park
Today you will visit one of the highlights of this tour, the Tayrona National Park, where the jungle meets the Caribbean.
We will spend the night in Chinchorros, a traditional hammock with unforgettable views of the Caribbean.
Day 9. Tayrona National Park– Pueblito
A full day with a great guided walk through mountains, tropical forests, archaeological sites and beaches: Calabazo – Pueblito – Cape San Juan – natural swimming pools – Arrecifes – Cañaveral.
Day 10. Tayrona National Park
Enjoy a relaxing day by the sea, sunning yourself and reflecting upon your wonderful journey to this Caribbean paradise.
Day 11. Tayrona National Park - Santa Marta
