This is an overview of the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your booking. All persons wishing to make a booking must agree to having carefully read and understand the complete Terms and Conditions available upon request.
BOOKINGS
To secure a booking with See Colombia Travel Operated by Viventura, the client must deposit 20% of the trip price (minimum 250 USD). A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email. It is at this point that a Contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence.
DEPOSIT
At the time of booking a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the tour price per person is due. If booking is made 60 days or less prior to departure, full payment is due.
Your deposit is good for Life.
At See Colombia Travel Operated by Viventura we understand that plans can change and life doesn’t always go as planned. As part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, all deposits with Viventura are good for life. So if you have to delay or cancel a tour with us for any reason, rest assured that your deposit will be waiting for use on a future adventure with Viventura.
FINAL PAYMENT
a) The complete balance due must be paid to the Company no later than 60 days prior to departure. In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date, the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled by the Client.
b) In the case of bookings made 60 days or less of the departure date, the full amount of the package must be paid at once.
c) Payment can be made by either debit or credit card. In the case of a credit card payment all charges applied to the transaction should be assumed by the Client.
CLIENT DETAILS
In order for the Company to confirm and guarantee the Client’s travel arrangements the Client must provide all Client Details with their final payment. If the Client does not provide all details 60 days or more before departure, an Administrative Fee of 50 USD will be charged to the Client. In the event where client details have not been received by the Company 30 days prior to the Client’s trip departure, the Company reserves the right to treat the file as canceled and full cancellation fees will apply. Client Details required will vary tour by tour, and will be advised during the booking process. However, at a minimum Client Details include passport number, passport expiry date, passport issue date and place of issuance, completed medical form, full name as it appears in the passport you are traveling with, date of birth, place of birth, nationality and arrival details (or other documents as requested by The Company). A booking may not be confirmed without provision of Client Details.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
The Client must notify the Company in writing during the process of booking of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and or any medical condition.
CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE CLIENT
Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and be acknowledged by the Company in writing. (a) Cancellation for See Colombia Travel Operated by Viventura trips: The cancellation fees are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price, excluding insurance and international flights.
i) Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: Lifetime Deposit held by the Company.
ii) Cancellation 59-30 days before departure: 50% of cost of services booked, Lifetime Deposit held by the Company.
iii) Cancellation less than 30 days before departure: 100% of cost of services
ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
The Client acknowledges that the nature of the tour is adventurous and may involve a significant amount of personal risk. The Client hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release the Company from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
The Company guarantees selected departures at their discretion. The departure shall become guaranteed once the minimum number of Clients has been confirmed upon it.
INSURANCE
It is highly suggested that all Clients obtain travel related personal medical insurance while traveling with the Company and this insurance must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, and evacuation expenses.
DISCOUNTS
All discounts and reduced pricing are applied at the Company’s discretion.
LIABILITY
See Colombia Travel Operated by Viventura is not liable whatsoever for any claim arising out of or in connection with these packages, nor is it liable for loss of or damage or injury to property, or omission by any transportation company, hotel, agency or any other cause beyond it’s reasonable control.
