My name is William Jarrell and I am an amateur photographer currently living in Maryland in the USA.
Before I started working for the non-profit organization Youth For Understanding, I studied History of Art and Architecture as well as Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. I love to travel, and after a taste of Europe while studying abroad in the Netherlands, I left for Bogota on a whim. For five months I taught English and evaluated high schools’ English programs in Meta, traveled to interesting locales like Parque Tayrona and Villa de Leyva, and, most importantly, took a slew of photos of the beautiful landscapes, cities, and people of Colombia.
Thanks for embracing me, Colombia, I won’t soon forget! And thanks, See Colombia Travel, for vesting an interest in the formative talent of young Colombians (and lovers of Colombia, i.e. me)!
