My name is Mark Firth and I’m an aspiring photographer based in Bogota, Colombia. In 2009 I quit my job, left London and started recording my experiences in Guatemala, Canada, USA and eventually Colombia. Which has become my home.
It was during my travels I fell in love with photography and the colours, people, sights and feelings of Latin America which enabled me to develop my own technique and style. Starting with street photography and later photographing events and portraits I found my love for producing work that creates memories, stirs emotion and creates a reaction from the person looking at it. To achieve this is one of the most exciting and satisfying feelings in the world.
