Day 1 - January 25. Armenia - Medellin

Upon arrival to Medellin one of See Colombia Travel´s representatives will be on hand to transfer you to your chosen hotel. Meals: B.

Day 2 - January 26. Medellin. City Tour

A 4 hour trip, that uncovers the roots of Medellín and its most iconic symbols, such as the “Pueblito Paisa”, the Intelligent Building, the Plaza Mayor, the Administrative Center of La Alpujarra and Carabobo street. We will travel in the “Metro Cable”, a massive transportation system unique to the city, and visit of the España Library Park and its distinctive architectural structure. Meals: B.

Day 3 - January 27. Medellin - Arvi Park. Trekking

Home of the silleteros (flower farmers) and to one of the largest ecological parks in the region, Santa Elena offers the perfect mix of Colombian culture, natural beauty and adventurous activities, all within close proximity to Medellin. At the chosen time you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to San Elena only 52 kms away from for an amazing wlk through farms with panoramic view points. Meals: B, L (lunch box).

Day 4 - January 28. Medellin. Santa Fe de Antioquia

As an optional activity during your free day, after breakfast we leave Medellín for Santa Fe de Antioquia municipality, declared Humanity´s Heritage. Its small cobbled streets and its beautiful houses with balconies recall the colonial period. The access road goes through a 4km tunnel and by the “Puente Colgante de Occidente”, a masterpiece of engineering from the 19 century. As an optional activity you could go horse riding in the surrounding mountains. Meals: B.

Day 5 - January 29. Medellin – Oriente & Guatape

This tour will begin with a visit to Peñol Rock, which is one of the most interesting natural attractions in Colombia. Then we will visit the village of Guatape, famous for the details of the homes and the Peñol-Guatape reservoir. As an optional activity, take a little tour of the reservoir in a boat, go to the top of Peñol Rock, take the cable car or simply enjoy the artisan craft stalls and the life next to the water (optional activites not included). Around noon we will visit Rionegro. Here we will eat lunch (not included) and then visit San Antonio de Pereira, which is famous for its desserts. The tour continues on the street of trees and onward to the entrance to Tutucán. After leaving Tutucán, we will stop at the touristic inn called El Tequendamita. Afterward, we will visit Retiro to learn about the traditional production of timber. We will end our tour admiring the beautiful scenery surrounding the Dam of Faith. Meals: B.

Day 6 - January 30 . Medellin. Free Day

Free day to enjoy the city. Go shopping in Medellin’s famous shopping centres, or wander Medellin’s streets to enjoy the beautiful weather. For the adventurous, you can head out of the city to one of the many natural attractions such as Guatape, where you’ll find stunning views of the surrounding lakes. Meals: B.

Day 7 - January 31. Medellin - San Andres.

Today you’ll be transferred to Medellin’s airport for your flight to San Andres Island. Upon arrival one of See Colombia Travel’s representatives will be on hand to transfer you to your chosen hotel on the island where you can relax. Meals: B.

Day 8, 9 & 10 - February 1, 2 & 3. San Andres

Fabulous free days to enjoy the beautiful white sand beach in Johny Cay, the fascinating aquarium of San Andres islands (not included) or just relax by the Caribbean Ocean. Meals: B.

Day 11 - January 4. San Andres - Bogota - Santa Marta

At the chosen time transfer from your hotel to the airport. Upon your arrival in Santa Marta, you will be transferred by land to your hotel in Palomino. Meals: B.

Day 12 to 15, January 5 to 8. Playa La Roca EcoHotel - Tayrona

During the next few days enjoy and relax by the sea, sunning yourself and reflecting upon your wonderful journey on one of Colombia’s most beautiful beaches.

You will spend your first whole day in on of the many beaches at the Tayrona National Park (entrance fee included).

The next day you’ll be taken for a beautiful hike to a waterfall in the morning. Then, after lunch and as an optional activity, you could take a trail to the mouth of the Palomino River or just relax into a hammock with a good book. Also, you will have the wonderful opportunity to go visit a village of the Kogi, descendants of the Tayrona. Here you will have the opportunity to see how the traditions of the Tayrona people are still present in the everyday lives of the Kogi.

For your free time at the Eco-Hotel you have option to relax in a hammock with a book, visit the Valencia River, relax at the beach, or indulge in one of their many spa treatments (including chocotherapy!). Meals: B on all days.

Day 16 - February 9. Palomino - Cartagena

At the chosen time transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival i transfer to your chosen hotel where you can have dinner, relax and prepare for your coming adventure with us. Meals: B.

Day 17 - February 10. Cartagena. Segway City Tour

Take an exciting look at this historical city from your own personal segway. You’ll have the chance to scoot around visiting the many beautiful sites of this colourful colonial city such as the gold museum, Las Bovedas, PLaza de la Proclamacion, the Cartagena cathedral and many more (entrances not included). Your afternoon is free to enjoy the city. Meals: B (only if staying at hotels).

Day 18 - February 11. Cartagena. Day on the Rosario Islands

Cocoliso Islands has a couple of the most beautiful beaches on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. This is the perfect place to enjoy the beach and tropical Caribbean climate, and a great opportunity to taste the local cuisine, mostly consisting of fish and rice flavored with coconut. This boat journey takes you to discover this paradise, far from the bustling city. At the chosen time you´ll be picked up at your hotel and taken to the pier for your boat trip to Cocoliso. Meals: B, L.

Day 19 to 22 - February 12 to 15. Cartagena. Free Days

Free days to enjoy the city; to get lost in one of the many plazas and cobble stone streets and have a drink watching the sunset on top of the city wall. Meals: B.

Day 23 - February 16. Cartagena - Home.

At the chosen time transfer to Santa Marta for your flight back home.

All good things must come to an end, after all. Of course, if 23 days just isn’t enough time in Colombia, our tours are 100% customizable and we’d be happy to extend your stay with us. Just ask for more details. Meals: B.
