It seems that every day now I get an email from someone wondering about what it’s like to live in Colombia<\/strong>. I even had several people ask me when I went back to the UK recently.<\/p>\n

And they weren’t just casually inquiring. These are all people that are genuinely interested in moving to Colombia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This, of course, wasn’t really on the cards even just 5 years ago. Sure, brave travellers and smitten lovers braved going against the ubiquitous government warnings and moved to Colombia, but it certainly wasn’t on the radar as an expat paradise. All signs suggest that this is changing. Fast.<\/p>\n

So why are people so drawn to coming here?<\/strong> Why is it that us expats are so passionate about recommending our adopted home to fellow foreigners? Just why<\/em> should you move to Colombia? Check out our gallery to find out…<\/p>\n

There are still places surrounding Bogot\u00e1 that I haven’t managed to go to, such are the incredible array of options for travel in Colombia. Much of it hasn’t yet been touched, so you can be a pioneer.<\/p>\n

Fine, it may rain a lot in Bogot\u00e1, but in places like Medell\u00edn you’ll find some of the best year-round weather on earth. Not too hot, not too cold, just right. You’ll feel like Goldilocks if she preferred blue skies to soup.<\/p>\n
