We’re thrilled to announce that yesterday, the 24th of March, the Bloggies announced their winners and\u00a0we\u00a0<\/em>were number 1.<\/p>\n

This is great news for us and a real boost for the team. As you’ll no doubt have seen, we’ve worked really hard to make this blog what it is today and to bring you, our dear readers, a post about our lives in Colombia every single day (of course, the work is hard, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun).<\/p>\n

But this isn’t just about us. The most important aspect of all this is that Colombia<\/strong> has won. Remember a few years ago? No one would have dreamed that a Colombia blog would win top honours in any kind of competition – hardly anyone even visited Colombia, after all.<\/p>\n

Today this country is a veritable paradise for travellers: bursting to the seams with culture, full of incredible landscapes and, most important of all, boasting some of the warmest people on the planet. There’s never been a better time to travel to Colombia<\/a>, and we feel like this Bloggie just about proves that. Why? Because if people are voting for our Colombia Travel Blog as the best in Latin America, it shows that the general public (not just lovers of this country) are voting for and supporting Colombia. Pretty great, huh?<\/p>\n

So, we’d just like to say a big thank you to all our readers and to everyone that voted for us. We won’t stop here; our plan is to get bigger, better, and keep bringing you the most up to date, comprehensive information about our home, Colombia.<\/p>\n
