Thanksgiving is a time for family, and all-out American and Canadian traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Thanksgiving in Colombia isn&#8217;t really celebrated, despite <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/SVWt2VkChk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">occasional advertisement in Carulla<\/a>, but don&#8217;t worry if you want to celebrate Thanksgiving in Bogot\u00e1 somehow, because there are two huge parties to check out that&#8217;ll make you forget everything you&#8217;re missing out on. It&#8217;s $20,000 to get in and some great acts are playing:\u00a0Poolside, Kisses and Las Kellies.<\/p>\n<p>In La Puerta Grande, Parque 93, Chocquibtown will be bringing their tropi-hop act to Bogot\u00e1. Tickets cost $50,000 and the night will kick off at 9pm (although don&#8217;t expect the band to start until close to midnight).<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re in the salsa mood, La Villa is always a great night on a Thursday with their\u00a0<a title=\"Exchange Salsa in La Villa! The Biggest Bi-Lingual Salsa Party of the Week!\" href=\"http:\/\/seecolombia.travel\/blog\/2012\/08\/exchange-salsa-in-la-villa-the-biggest-bi-lingual-salsa-party-of-the-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Exchange Salsa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking to celebrate Thanksgiving in Cartagena, then the corporation &#8220;Actuar por Bol\u00edvar&#8221; have organised an event for Thanksgiving Night which will include a typical Thanksgiving dinner, a musical show, some gifts and the opportunity to give a Happy Christmas to children in vulnerable situations in the city of Cartagena.
