According to Bloomberg, Colombia is one of the best countries to visit in 2017<\/strong>. In their recent article entitled ‘Where to Go in 2017’<\/a> the company included Colombia, along with other up-and-coming destinations such as Iran and Myanmar. This is another boost for Colombia’s global tourism profile<\/strong>, which has seen a number of high-profile endorsements over the past few weeks as major news outlets and travel websites compile their ‘best of 2017’ lists<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Bloomberg’s piece, it is “easy to understand why Colombia was the birthplace of magical realism,”<\/strong> when you see the country’s “natural splendor” and “extraordinary countryside.” Specifically they make reference to destinations such as the Cocora Valley, Tatacoa Desert, Tayrona, Cartagena and Bogota,<\/strong> which “has become deft at catering to the jet set.”<\/p>\n
