One of the greatest wonders that Colombia has to offer is undoubtedly the<strong> Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta &#8211; a huge mountain range jutting up from the Colombian Caribbean coast.<\/strong> It contains Colombia&#8217;s two highest peaks, Pico Colon and Bolivar, which top 5,700m and are both permanently snow-capped. <strong>The biodiversity is extraordinary, with some 27 endemic bird species<\/strong> calling the Sierras home. Not only that, but Colombia&#8217;s greatest <strong>iconic trekking experience to the Lost City<\/strong> takes place within their forest clad valleys.
