In fact, it&#8217;s been said that it&#8217;s a land of constant surprise. One expectation of Colombia, however, that is thankfully met, is the image of the country as a tropical paradise. Sure, you won&#8217;t be soaked in sun if you travel to Bogota, but nonetheless you can head to the coastal regions of Colombia and enjoy the kind of desert-island haven you&#8217;ve always dreamed of.<\/p>\n<p>The most popular of these places is <a href=\"http:\/\/seecolombia.travel\/tours\/tayrona-national-park\" target=\"_blank\">Tayrona National Park, <\/a>found on Colombia&#8217;s Caribbean coast near Santa Marta. A stunning sprawl of beaches, palm trees, heaving seas and jungle-clad mountains, the park is a traveller&#8217;s dream.
