Usaquen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Billed as a flea market, but really a much more upscale affair, the Usaquen Sunday market is perhaps <strong>Bogota&#8217;s most well-known market<\/strong>. Set in a gorgeous little suburb of the city in the north, Usaquen is an all-round market experience, with excellent bars and restaurants on <strong>pretty, flower-laden streets<\/strong>, filled with stalls selling beautiful crafts, clothing and Colombian trinkets. It&#8217;s a bit pricier than some markets, but it&#8217;s <strong>the perfect place for a complete Sunday out.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4301\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4301\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/seecolombia.travel\/blog\/2012\/07\/where-to-go-when-you-travel-to-bogota-usaquen\/olympus-digital-camera-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4301\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4301\" src=\"http:\/\/seecolombia.travel\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/PA302508-e1343353988621.jpg\" alt=\"The colorful streets of Usaquen\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4301\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The colorful streets of Usaquen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. San Alejo Flea Market<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A true flea-market, this one<\/strong>! Paloquemao<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The foodies Sunday market.<strong> Paloquemao is Bogota&#8217;s premier food market<\/strong>, with vendors selling thousands of items, from fresh fruit and veg, to meat and seafood. The onsite food stalls and restaurants make this <strong>a real paradise for the hungrier Sunday shopper<\/strong>. San Andresito<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More of a permanent market area, <strong>San Andresito comes alive on a Sunday<\/strong>. This is the place to really spend, spend, spend! A more commercial option, San Andresito features <strong>electronic goods, fashionable clothing, and replica football shirts<\/strong> (and much, much more besides).
