This week we’re releasing our galleries of pictures of Colombia. Today we’re giving you a sample of Mark Firth’s excellent photos of Colombia.
Firth is an aspiring photographer based in Bogota, Colombia. In 2009 he quit his job, left London and started recording his experiences in Guatemala, Canada, USA and eventually Colombia.
It was during his travels that he fell in love with photography. He says that “the colours, people, sights and feelings of Latin America enabled me to develop my own technique and style”. Starting with street photography and later photographing events and portraits he “found my love for producing work that creates memories, stirs emotion and creates a reaction from the person looking at it”.
